A fully equipped laboratory provides control of the quality production processes throughout the factory and enables us to maintain ISO accreditation.

With exception of Australia, there are virtually no standards that are applicable to our type of product. Australian Standards actively support and contribute to the international effort to form a consistent set of International Standards throughout the world.

Tensile Testing
Tensile testing equipment will allow us to ensure that the tensile strength of the stainless steel mesh exceeds our minimum requirements.

Salt Spray Testing
This test places product samples into a chamber that controls air temperature, salt content and humidity. Through this controlled environment time is accelerated and observations can be made on the longevity of the product samples.

Spectrometer
It will be used to ensure that the alloy of stainless steel mesh and other products are exactly as specified. Using low-grade alloys can have disastrous repercussions, particularly in regard to corrosion.

Digital Microscope
The quality of weaving and the diameter of the wire used in weaving are key quality issues.  Weaving imperfections are sometimes difficult to see and in the event that they occur it is important to document the flaws for ongoing quality control purposes and for claims against the supplier.
